SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

Joseph Suvak

I am honored and very grateful to be the recipient of the Robert J. Clack Memorial Scholarship.  This award will help ease the cost of achieving my degree in Accounting.  I have had a very pleasant experience at Cuyahoga Community College attending classes at several different campuses.  The flexibility offered by the school makes it possible for a busy adult like me to continue my education while also maintaining other responsibilities.

Robert J. Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Robert J. Clark Memorial Scholarship Fund of the Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) Foundation was established in 1998 as a memorial tribute to Cleveland Police Detective Robert J. Clark by his loving family, friends and colleagues.  Scholarships are available to Tri-C students in any academic program who maintain a 2.8 grade point average and are residents of Cuyahoga County with preference given to City of Cleveland resident.  Past recipients of the Robert J. Clark Memorial Scholarship represent the diversity of Tri-C’s student body as awards have been made to students majoring in such fields as Business Management, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Psychology, and Law Enforcement.  Recipients have an average grade point average of 3.5.

Cuyahoga Community College Foundation
The Cuyahoga Community College Foundation was chartered in 1973 as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and is dedicated to the idea that Tri-C is “where futures begin.”  The mission of the Foundation is to create funding opportunities for scholarships and educational program development and enhancement for Tri-C.  Donors to the Tri-C Foundation help students to embrace lifelong learning as the way to a better future.
